TIE DAY IS AN EVENT WHEN COMMUNITY LEADERS AND PARTNERS COME INTO ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS AND TEACH STUDENTS HOW TO TIE A TIE.

January 22, 2015: Community leaders, business executives, police officers, pastors, engineers, bankers and teachers gathered in a cafeteria to teach 250 elementary school boys the art of tying a tie - Tie Day was born.

Learning to tie a necktie isn't that much different than learning to read or write. It takes many many tries but eventually you are going to get it right, you are going to be successful.

"If you look nice you feel better about yourself. When you feel better about yourself, then I think your decision making processes are better." -Terrance G. (Community Leader)
